NUXT_AUTH_CLI_MISSING: Better Auth CLI is not installed

Install the auth package so the module can generate the NuxtHub schema.
Example error
[NUXT_AUTH_CLI_MISSING] NuxtHub schema generation needs the Better Auth CLI package (auth), which is not installed.

Why this happens

NuxtHub schema generation uses the Drizzle generator from the Better Auth CLI, published as auth. The module lists auth as an optional peer dependency instead of bundling it, because auth pins an exact better-auth version. A bundled copy would install a second better-auth next to yours whenever the versions differ. Apps that do not use NuxtHub do not need auth.

How to fix it

Run pnpm add -D auth@1.7.11. Keep auth on the same version as better-auth.

Install auth at the same version as better-auth. The diagnostic prints the command for your package manager and installed version:

pnpm add -D auth@1.7.11

When you upgrade better-auth later, upgrade auth to the same version.

Verify the fix

Run pnpm exec nuxt prepare. The module should log the generated schema without NUXT_AUTH_CLI_MISSING.
